Avvo Labels is committed to sustainability and actively works to reduce its carbon footprint by optimizing production workflows, minimizing waste and lowering energy consumption throughout its operations.
Led Machinery & Ink Systems
Investment has been made in acquiring led machinery which is energy efficient & environmentally friendly: low heat emission, minimal VOCS (volatile organic compounds) and energy-efficient. The low VOCS of these led-curable inks reduce the carbon footprint and the overall environmental impact. These inks cure rapidly using low-energy led lamps, offer energy savings.
ECG Technology
Avvo Labels has welcomed ECG – extended colour gamut printing technology. A process whereby spot colours are converted to a fixed ink set, reducing downtime between jobs and increase productivity. Optimisizing our production processes reduces our carbon footprint & reduces the amount of ink utilised in the print process. This allows for sustainable print processes.
Recycling Initiatives
Avvo Labels has partnered with EWASA and the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) to ensure the responsible recycling of matrix waste and release liners. The company also places strong emphasis on supporting its clients in adopting responsible waste recycling practices as part of a shared commitment to environmental sustainability.
